Denetra Hampton recently completed one of the biggest tasks in her scientific storytelling legacy. With the unearthing of what we now know as THE DIXIE 3 civil rights nursing story, educating on the social injustice around the country and now collaborating with the city of its' origin, Hampton, Virginia, for a historical marker is benevolent. It is a game-changer in education for the health sciences, and she is just beginning.
