The Black Angels: A Nurse's Story Mini-Documentary made a stop at UCLA School of Nursing on October 29, 2019, while continuing it's academic tour. Producer, Denetra Hampton says," It was another great opportunity to share how African American nurses have contributed to science and medicine as well as give homage to Marjorie Tucker Reed and The Black Angels"

The UCLA leadership extended their support and beyond in helping make the event one of excellence. The audience was diverse in discipline, as well as community outreach.
